A lot of you may have noticed in the past few weeks, posts have been less frequent and updates have been lacking. And to be honest, I have lost the enthusiasm I used to have when making this site...
I have decided to close down Ultimate Doctor Who for the time being, as I feel running the site has taken up lots of my own time, and with exams coming up next month, I just don't think I will be able to handle running a site and dealing with school work at the same time.
I would like to thank everyone who has visited the site and for all your lovely comments! This is definetly not the end, maybe its the beginning of a brand new UDW..?
Who knows? Maybe UDW will return at Christmas? If we do return, I can ensure that the site wil be revamped into one of the best, who fansites out there! But for now, It is the end...

2008 - 2009 and beyond?
Yet another hell of a week for UDW! If you have been visiting Ultimate Doctor Who over the past few days, you have obviously been viewing the site on a web host called Wix.
Ultimate Doctor Who will unfortunately not recieve any updates from today, April 9th to April 16th as I will be extremely busy.
This means that there will be no news posts, no new Episode of The Week, no new poll and the cBox will be locked so people will be unable to comment (or spam) while I'm away.
Although, If you would like to post for UDW from today until April 16th, please contact me at doctorwhoiscool@gmail.com and I will take a look at your site and consider you to post for the next week or so. I would really appreciate if someone were to volunteer to do this.
I would also like to remind you that the Easter Special, Planet of The Dead, will air at 6.45pm this Saturday on BBC One and BBC HD.

I have opened a brand new website dedicated to the American Sci-fi show, Heroes.
Heroes is a show about a group of people who discover they have amazing powers. You can view Ultimate Heroes here.
I have also opened a new page for Ultimate Doctor Who. On this new page you can see what the site looked like, before it was revamped into the current layout, and you can view Classic UDW here.
I would also like to inform viewers of UDW that the site will be temporarily closed down from April 12th - 16th due to me, the owner, being away on holiday.

I am delighted to announce that Ultimate Doctor Who has reached 100 posts, since opening back In January.
UDW opened on December 30th 2008, as I felt a fresh start would be good for the New Year.
I had previously owned a different blog called Tardis Updated, which also managed to reach 100 posts but it closed down as the site wasn't doing very well.
Since the opening, this site has had Three Separate layouts. The First one was popular to viewers but I thought it was too dark so I made a new one which had a much brighter layout and I introduced a new font to the site, Assiduous. I wanted a more professional look, so I switched to the current template, which I am very happy with. The site has closed down temporarily twice in the past, but as of today is still running!
I have created a wallpaper exclusive to UDW that anyone can use to put on their Desktop. To view it click here.

Viewers of this site have probably noticed recently, the notice I put on the Homepage a few days ago, and have been wondering about what is going on with Ultimate Doctor Who.
I put up a message, recently about leaving Blogger.
I apologize for the unnecessary comments I made towards other Blogger users, but I still do not change my mind about what I said.
Anyway, This is, funnily enough, the second time UDW has closed down, and both last time, and this time, I have been having second thoughts about my decision.
The site will stay open until further notice, but I have made a request on the newly designed Cbox about what should I do. I would appreciate if you were to comment there, and help me out here.

Today, March 1st 2009, the second month anniversary of the opening of UDW, we recieved a new look.
We aim to make things to look more professional than before...
All the pages such as 'Banner Designs' have been deleted as I feel that a fresh start would be good. As time goes on more things will be added such as more features to the Sidebar and extra pages.
Posting will return starting tomorrow, March 2nd, for a brand new, and ready UDW!

UDW was closed overnight due to major Reconstruction. So if you thought there was something wrong with your PC, Mac, Laptop or whatever you use, you thought wrong. Yesterday Evening and This Morning, I was working very hard to give the site a better, more brighter look. Nothing has disappeared, in fact the layout is pretty much the same, but the style is different and the main Font has changed. The sidebar titles have changed, the colour has changed, the banners have changed, the background pic has changed and more stuff too. Below you Can compare the Old Look and the new Look: 
The Site will obviously still be posting the same kinda posts and news, and please comment on whether you like the new look or not, as comments are widely appreciated here at UDW.

Quote of The Day has been moved to the sidebar, as a couple of other sites are doing the same thing and, well, it makes my site look like just another one of those fan-sites, well that's not what I want people to think of my site. I want people to think of my site as rather unique so thats why these changes are happening, just so it doesn't look like others. I've noticed recently, actually that some of the features of UDW have been copied a little. So I would really appreciate it, that in future, when a new feature comes to this site, please don't copy it immediately and try and think of other things for your site. Because, I mean this when I say it, that all of you, really do have good sites and I don't think that you'd appreciate if all of your stuff was being used on other sites.

Ultimate Doctor Who
Ultimate Doctor Who is still undergoing some changes to get the site to look better. Today, a brand new look arrived to the site. Instead of the usual Denim template I changed it around a bit, and now instead of having just a colour in the background it has the UDW logo (even though you can't see all of the pic, it still looks good, right?) All that's left to do is to change around the page links (I'm just not happy with them at the moment) and maybe 1 or 2 other things as well.
