Crash of The Byzantium?

More pictures of filming for the fifth series of Doctor Who are still being leaked online, and if you look closely at the wreckage in one of the pictures it says BYZANTIUM on a newspaper of some sort. In Series Four's Silence in The Library River Song mentions to the Tenth Doctor: "Crash of the Byzantium, have we done that yet?"

Another picture has been released which shows Alex Kingston beside Matt Smith and the TARDIS surrounded by crew in the beach they used to film Bad Wolf Bay in Doomsday and Journey's End.

Doctor Who Fifth Series Begins Filming

Filming for the new series of Doctor Who will begin today and fans have already been given a first look at Matt Smith's and Karen Gillan's costumes which you can view below.

 

Matt Smith seems to be wearing a sort of 1950's school teacher outfit and Karen Gillan is wearng a grey sweater of sorm sort. 

The Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond will star in the fifth series of Doctor Who expected to begin spring of next year.

Doctor Who Filimg - Dubai

The Official BBC Doctor Who site Have confirmed that filming for the next Doctor Who episode, Planet of The Dead, is taking place in Dubai at the moment.

"We rarely take Doctor Who abroad, We did visit Rome for Series Four's The Fires of Pompeii - which gave us some spectacular footage. The locations in Dubai are a perfect match for writer Russell T Davies's vision of the episode and we expect to film some incredible scenes while we are here." Reports Tracie Simpsons who is producing this episode.

Planet of The Dead - Possible Delay

The forthcoming special for Doctor Who, Planet of The Dead, could possible be delayed. During filming there was a double-decker bus that was being shipped to Dubai for some filming. Although it was badly damaged and the BBC are finding it very hard to find a replacement. This means now that Russell T. Davies who is writing the episode will have to rewrite parts of the episode, which means that the much awaited special could be delayed to Late Spring rather then Easter.

This makes me sad because if it was at Easter Time it was probably going to be on my Birthday :( . Ah Well, Thats Life.

'Planet of The Dead' - Filming Begins

Today's The Day, filming has begun for the next Doctor Who episode, Planet of The Dead. Filming will take place in a museum tonight. Apparently there's a globe sort of thing being put up around the museum. Hmmmm...Globes are usually the shape of planets aren't they? Suspicious. Anyway credit to Planet Gallifrey for the info about the museum. And I suggest that you check out that site in future as it's great for finding out information and filming pictures for a new episode.
